» HEIGHT • i'm pretty short, just five two or something.
» WEIGHT • i dunno, i'm pretty thin.
» BODY SHAPE • um, skinny?
» ETHNICITY • what's it called? oh yeah, caucasian.
» APPEARANCE • i've got quite light skin - not pale, but not tanned. when i stand around in the sun or try and tan it, it turns bright pink instead of brown. i've got a few light freckles across the bridge of my nose, but not many. my's probably my favourite feature. it's naturally an unusually bright red. i dye in highlights and streaks occasionally, but i always keep it close to its natural colour. 'cause nothing beats a ranga, right?
i'm on the small side, and quite skinny. i don't diet to stay like that, though. if i dieted, i'd shrivel up and blow away in days. when she was eight or something i got diagnosed with a hyperactive thyroid gland. in english, that means i'm constantly hungry and never gain weight. i snack all the time, and i have food in the pockets of all my clothes and a huge stack under the bed. the canteen ladies know me and save some of the leftovers for me. i actually wish i could put on a bit of weight so i could fill out my clothes a bit better, but hey, life's too short to worry about stuff like that.
i have a pretty awesome but slightly - okay, very - weird sense of fashion. i like comfy stuff, but it has to look good too. i've got a sort of rock/indie/skater chick style, but i experiment with loads of different colours and clothes. but i never wear pink for two reasons. one, it's too girly. two, it clashes really bad with my hair. that's the one drawback of being a ranga. you have to be careful with colours. i'm quite tomboy-ish, but i do like clothes and make-up. normal make-up, however, is pointless. i love the crazy colours and weird designs.
» PORTRAYED BY • well, people say i look like hayley williams.
to kill off this common

» LIKES • this is sort of a wide subject. crazy clothes, make-up, coffee, eating, partying, boys, soda, singing, dancing, playing guitar, playing drums and writing music. oh, and watermelon. i adore watermelon. that's off the top of my head, i'm sure there's more.
» DISLIKES • people who take life too seriously, teachers/prefects who give you crap for nothing, homework, working too hard, being hungry, mannequins and dolls (so... creepy...) going to sleep too early, waking up too early, arriving early (thinking about it, pretty much anything early).
» HABITS/QUIRKS • i rock backwards and forwards when i stand, and i hum songs without realising it.
» HOBBIES • um... hanging out with friends, skateboarding, singing, just generally having fun.
» FEARS • dolls and mannequins. shit they're creepy. seriously. they freak the crap outta me. can we move on now?
» DREAMS • i guess i just dream about a happy ending. joining a band, being really successful, having a family, etc.
» PERSONALITY • life is just like this massive long game, isn't it? and what are rules but obstacles to make it more fun? i love parties and things like that. in fact, if there's anything interesting going on and i'm not there then please launch a search party. i'll probably be dead. or unconscious. or kidnapped by the FBI and mistaken for a wanted enemy agent. crap, that'd be so awesome! anyway, i love just having fun and just going wild. i try to be upbeat and optimistic, but it can be hard sometimes, you know? i like clothes and make-up and i can shop with the best of them, but i'm not afraid of letting my hair down and getting my hands dirty.
i hate people that try and make you do stuff cos they can. you know, like prefects that try and make you go to bed and teachers that don't let you talk? completely inconsiderate. i've always hated rules. in fact, i'll probably do something just because there's a rule against it or someone's told me not to. i do what i want when i want to, and i hate it when people try to stop me. i can take care of myself, i don't need your help, thank you very much.
i'm also pretty impulsive. i do things because i'm curious and i feel like it, and i'm not the best at remembering to think about the consequences. that gets me in trouble heaps, but i don't really care all that much. you don't need good school reports to join a band. i don't really get embarrassed like other girls, and i'm okay with laughing at myself. there's no point in regretting stuff, though. you can't change it so you might as well accept it, so that's what i do.
i like having masses of friends. well, i suppose it depends how you define 'friend'. if it's 'person to have fun and hang around with' then yeah, i love 'em. but if it means 'person to confide in and pour out your soul to' then not so much. i mean, if i really, really liked and trusted someone they might be like that, but i don't go around yelling my inner feelings. i'm actually sort of pissed off about having such an average past. this profile's private, right? i sort of tell lies about stuff. i know i shouldn't, but my life's so boring. it's not like it's hurting anyone, right? i don't confide my own inner feelings, but i'm pretty good at picking up other people's. i'm quite sensitive, actually. hey, that sounds really cool. "i'm actually a sensitive spirit, you know."

» OTHER RELATIVES • about a zillion. what, you expect me to remember them all?
» HISTORY • ashley was born in london, where her dad worked as a manager at tesco. he earned a comfortable living, but they were never rich. she and her twin, ben, were in the middle of nine children. because of this, she never got very much attention. she often fought and argued with her twin. her sisters despaired of her tomboy attitude. her teachers gave very mixed reports - some said she was a disruptive student with a very limited attention span, others said she was talented and a star pupil. the ones that got the best out of her were the teachers of subjects she enjoyed, and the ones that hated her taught her least favourite subjects. but every one of them had to admit that she was very smart, if she paid attention.
she breezed easily through grades one to six, picking up enough to ace almost all the tests. she became just as close to boys as she was to girls, and enjoyed running around and going crazy. she didn't care much for rules, and if she didn't think they were reasonable then she broke them without a second thought. she was part of the debating squad and the basketball team, and she joined the chess club simply to disrupt and annoy them. their playground enemies were another group of boys, and they had food fights and mud fights almost every day, not to mention branch-duels.
her singing talent was first discovered when she was about five, and in grade one. her music teacher was teaching the class a song, and was amazed by ash's voice. she had a meeting with her parents and offered to give her free lessons. ash progressed quickly, and became a regular performer in assembly. she started entering competitions and went on a winning streak, improving all the time. when she was ten, a paa talent scout spotted her at a competition. instead of going to st petunia's institute for young ladies (her parents' preferred high school) she was delighted to find herself in paris and attending one of the most prestigious art schools in the world.
she missed her family at first, but quickly adjusted to life at a boarding school. she didn't know any french, and was relieved to find out that the school mostly spoke english. even so, she learnt french very quickly and now, in her fifth year, she's almost fluent.
